By launching the Hope Probe, the UAE has officially joined the club of nine countries that have explored Mars. Since the announcement of the project in 2014, the probe has encountered many challenges. The UAE entered this field earlier than other major countries that have worked for many before launching similar projects, which was a challenge to the Emirati personnel working on the project. After six years, the UAE has accomplished a unique and unprecedented achievement by launching the probe, which will reinforce its international presence in the sector. Our great country UAE that doesn't know the word impossible has overcame many challenges, including the coronavirus pandemic and the difficulties faced during the transfer of the probe to Japan. ✌❤

Sinopharm's trial vaccine is one of 140 being developed worldwide - but among the few to enter human trials The vaccine was developed by Chinese state-owned manufacturer Sinopharm and is being tested on 5,000 volunteers in Abu Dhabi and 15,000 people could eventually be involved. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, chairman of the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, was the first volunteer to receive the jab. Others have since joined the trial. It is one of dozens of vaccines in development against Covid-19.  It's a great work by Abu Dhabi 👏👏

The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi has announced the registration of 5,000 volunteers in Abu Dhabi for the third phase of clinical trials for an inactivated Covid-19 vaccine. Emiratis and residents of all nationalities aged between 18 and 60 are eligible to take part in the trials if considered suitable after a medical check-up. Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi was the first person given the Phase III inactivated vaccine for Covid-19. The UAE was the preferred choice to conduct the Phase III trials for the inactive Covid-19 vaccine because of its demographic heterogeneity, allowing for robust research across multiple ethnicities and increasing its feasibility for global application to the success of the trials.  Great work Abu Dhabi 👌

There are 15,000 volunteers for the study and trials. The UAE's healthcare sector has moved on to the third stage of Covid-19 vaccine research and clinical trials, a UAE minister has announced. If it proves to be effective, "we will move on to mass production of the vaccine", said Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention. The UAE had earlier announced that it had started phase 3 clinical trial of a Covid-19 vaccine that is expected to be available by the end of 2020 or early 2021. The UAE has announced the launch of a smart platform that allows users to identify the nearest health centre using an interactive map. Abu Dhabi does great efforts to keep everyone safe ❤

While the coronavirus pandemic has halted travel plans and cancelled holidays around the world for many, in Abu Dhabi, business seems to be better than ever for the emirate's hotels. Cases of the coronavirus have dropped to less than 1 per cent per capita in Abu Dhabi City. DCT says this is because of strict measures and increased testing The tourism authority has been working with hotels in Abu Dhabi to introduce enhanced hygiene and safety standards designed to protect hotel guests against the coronavirus.
