UAE- New 'Stay Home' App launched to reinforce self-quarantine procedures.

The Department of Health-Abu Dhabi has launched a new application “Stay Home” to ensure that people asked to self-quarantine adhere to mandatory quarantine requirements.

The new app, which comes in line with the department’s ongoing efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, will also ensure that home-quarantined people do not mingle with others during the quarantine duration.

The app is part of the Department's constant commitment to limiting the spread of the coronavirus, and is among the series of comprehensives measures and preventative actions taken to safeguard the health and safety of the community.

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion. According to the results of the "Edelman Trust 2021" index, issued yesterday by the American "Edelman" Foundation for Studies and Consultations, the Emirati people's confidence in their government has reached 80%.
