The peace treaty between the UAE and Israel is a "historic step"

 

The Bahraini monarch affirmed that the peace treaty between the UAE and Israel will contribute to pushing forward and strengthening peace efforts and opening prospects for stability in the region.


Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on the UAE's historic decision, announcing a peace treaty with Israel.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the Ethiopian Prime Minister said: On behalf of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to both the people and governments of the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel for taking the monumental decision to normalise relations between the two countries."

He further said, "I would like to commend my brother Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his leadership and I am confident the path to enduring peace in the Middle East will be nurtured."

The peace treaty between the UAE and Israel enhances the security and tranquility of the region and the world, and pushes further economic prosperity for the Middle East region 👌

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion.   UAE Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative and Chargé d’Affaires, Mohamed Abushahab said ijn his address that organizations should not “permit Daesh and other groups to hijack a religion of tolerance and give credence to their pretences.”   There is nothing Islamic about terrorism 🤚
