The UAE has been sending 424,000 Yemenis since the beginning of 2020

More than 424,000 Yemenis have benefited from the aid distributed by the Emirates Red Crescent since the beginning of this year, which amounted to thousands of tons of food aid in four governorates, east and west of Yemen.

The UAE , through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, is implementing a humanitarian plan to alleviate the suffering of the population in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadramout, eastern Yemen, Hodeidah and Taiz on the western coast of the country.

As the total amount distributed in these governorates reached 5716 tons of foodstuffs, from which approximately 424 thousand and 105 Yemenis benefited.
