A cochlear implant for a Palestinian child

On the fifth of last October, a Palestinian child underwent cochlear implantation surgery, with the support of the UAE Charitable Activities Authority, at the Red Crescent Hospital in Hebron

The family expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to the government and people of the UAE, and to the Charitable Activities Organization for the generous donation that it offered to treat their child, and for what they offer in support of the Palestinian people

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion. According to the results of the "Edelman Trust 2021" index, issued yesterday by the American "Edelman" Foundation for Studies and Consultations, the Emirati people's confidence in their government has reached 80%. This year, the UAE retained its advanced position on the "Edelman Trust Index", which annually monitors the levels of people's confidence in central and local governments, the media, commercial companies, non-governmental organizations, and other factors affecting the daily lives of peoples.
