Sheikh Mohamed, Bahrain and Jordan's Kings hold tripartite summit in UAE

The leaders of the UAE, Bahrain and Jordan have discussed the Palestinian cause and stressed on the need to realise a just and comprehensive peace.

At a tripartite summit held in Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan discussed regional and international developments of common interest.

Great that they stressed the need for cooperation and consultation among Arab countries to serve the Arab cause better ❤️

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion. UAE Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative and Chargé d’Affaires, Mohamed Abushahab said ijn his address that organizations should not “permit Daesh and other groups to hijack a religion of tolerance and give credence to their pretences.” There is nothing Islamic about terrorism 🤚

According to the results of the "Edelman Trust 2021" index, issued yesterday by the American "Edelman" Foundation for Studies and Consultations, the Emirati people's confidence in their government has reached 80%. This year, the UAE retained its advanced position on the "Edelman Trust Index", which annually monitors the levels of people's confidence in central and local governments, the media, commercial companies, non-governmental organizations, and other factors affecting the daily lives of peoples.

The UAE renews its commitment to support the efforts of the African Union to resolve the dispute between Ethiopia and Egypt regarding the exploitation of the Nile Dam .
