The UAE has been elected as election a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council

The selection of the UAE as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council by the international community reflects its prominent role at the regional and international levels

And that for its efforts in sponsoring peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea, and strengthening efforts to combat terrorism

Because the UAE's commitment to confronting extremism and combating terrorism against extremist ideology, makes it deserve its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2022-2023
