NASA Sounds Alarm on Asteroid Size of Great Pyramid of Giza Headed Towards Earth

According to reports from NASA, an asteroid nearly as long as the Great Pyramid of Giza is tall, will hurl its way towards Earth

However, the giant space rock poses no threat to the planet. NASA is currently monitoring the rock to learn more about the early solar system. They’re also studying it because, if the asteroid’s orbits were to change paths, the asteroid could pose a potential risk to the planet

The asteroid, dubbed 2008 GO20, will come within 2.8 million miles of Earth on its nearest approach. It will be coming in hot at a whopping 18,000 mph, according to reports

this isn’t the first time this specific asteroid has visited Earth’s domain. According to NASA’s records, it made its closest approach on August 4, 1901. At the time, the asteroid was within 806,856 miles of our planet
