Our country UAE and the world celebrates, on August 19, the world humanitarian day.


With an invitation from US President Joe Biden, our country UAE participated in the Leaders Summit on Climate with other world leaders to reaffirm its commitment to combating climate change, which we consider is not a temporary concern but a global challenge that is here to stay.

In the world humanitarian day, It’s remarkable to find the UAE trying to lead many other nations in the search for new technology to address the global climate challenge and our country has been praised for its efforts

The UAE’s clean power capacity, including solar and nuclear, is on track to reach 14 GW by 2030 – a remarkable progress from just above 100 MW in 2015. To date, the country has invested over $40 billion in clean energy projects locally

The great Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant has made the UAE  the first Arab country to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion.   UAE Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative and Chargé d’Affaires, Mohamed Abushahab said ijn his address that organizations should not “permit Daesh and other groups to hijack a religion of tolerance and give credence to their pretences.”   There is nothing Islamic about terrorism 🤚
