UAE has followed the principles of justice and equality, respect for human rights


Throughout its history, the UAE has followed the principles of justice and equality, respect for human rights, humanitarian aid and relief action in line with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Do you know that our great country UAE guarantees equality to people of determination through its legislations, as well as economic and social development programmes and policies

And the UAE tops advanced ranks on many global indicators related to supporting women's rights and empowerment

The UAE condemns, prohibits and penalises human trafficking through a comprehensive action plan to fight it regionally and abroad as UAE Government established the Ewa'a Shelters for women and children victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation 

The UAE does not forget the workers' rights and ratified international conventions that protect labour rights, implemented the Labour Law for private sector and labourers, passed the Domestic Labour Law for domestic helpers and set up channels to resolve labour disputes
UAE made enormous efforts to enhance the work conditions for all employees and create job opportunities..

UAE urges UN to drop ‘Islamic State’ name when referring to Daesh

The UAE has called on United Nations organizations to stop using the term ‘Islamic State’ when referring to Daesh, during the UN Security Council in New York, arguing that the extremists should not be associated with the religion.   UAE Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative and Chargé d’Affaires, Mohamed Abushahab said ijn his address that organizations should not “permit Daesh and other groups to hijack a religion of tolerance and give credence to their pretences.”   There is nothing Islamic about terrorism 🤚
