The UAE has found a place in a closely tracked index that measures the adequacy and integrity of global pension systems. The country’s retirement income system ranked 22nd among countries with long-standing pension systems

As life expectancy continues to rise, the UAE may benefit from increasing the retirement age; this is a step many countries have already taken to ensure the ability to provide for ageing and future generations

The UAE pension system scored highly compared with global peers in the areas of adequacy, sustainability and integrity

The UAE is the second in the world in the people's trust in the government

According to the results of the "Edelman Trust 2021" index, issued yesterday by the American "Edelman" Foundation for Studies and Consultations, the Emirati people's confidence in their government has reached 80%.
