Al Hosn National Health System has launched an online Hajj permit service


To facilitate Hajj procedures, save pilgrims’ times and efforts and enhance their confidence in the efficiency and development of national health procedures, Al Hosn National Health System, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has launched an online Hajj permit service

With the start of the Hajj 2022 season, here are some basic steps that you must take before embarking on the Hajj.

  For residents and citizens:
  - Make sure that you are fully vaccinated and that your vaccination appears on your Al Hosn app.
  - To be a total vaccinated , you must obtain the main doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (example: two doses of Sanofarm or Pfizer or other vaccinations approved by both the UAE and Saudi Arabia) in addition to the booster dose after 6 months have passed in the application

  ** Residents and citizens must make sure that they add both the vaccination travel permit and a negative PCR test result (valid for 72 hours), to their Hosn application, and ensure that they have the green status on all the mentioned permits in addition to the new permit for the pilgrim.

The UAE renews its commitment to support the efforts of the African Union to resolve the dispute between Ethiopia and Egypt regarding the exploitation of the Nile Dam .

The following is a statement by the Permanent Mission of the UAE to the UN on developments concerning the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD)  The UAE highlighted the “important role” of the AU, and welcomed the commitment of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia to the negotiations led by the union, encouraging them to continue negotiating in “good faith”.
