The UAE continues to provide aid to the residents of the West Coast in Yemen

 The Emirates Red Crescent Authority continues to provide humanitarian and food aid to the residents of the West Coast in Yemen, as part of a fixed program aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population and helping to return life to normal. This convoy includes 25 tons of integrated foodstuffs, as part of the second phase distribution plan for the year 2020.  As soon as the convoy reaches the camp it inhabits. 1,200 displaced families from all regions of Hodeidah, relief teams began distributing food supplies to all families living in the camp Great efforts is always done by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority may God save them for us 

UAE continuing pivotal role in supporting women

Abu Dhabi Development Fund Supports Sudan with $556.5M

 The Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund revealed that the fund, in cooperation with the Sudanese Government, recently implemented an aid package worth around $556.5 million to support Sudan The UAE is committed to providing an overall aid package worth $1.5 billion, to fulfill the basic needs of the Sudanese people In April 2019, the UAE pledged to provide Sudan with a package of economic aid to achieve financial and economic stability

The UAE has been sending 424,000 Yemenis since the beginning of 2020

 More than 424,000 Yemenis have benefited from the aid distributed by the Emirates Red Crescent since the beginning of this year, which amounted to thousands of tons of food aid in four governorates, east and west of Yemen. The UAE , through its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, is implementing a humanitarian plan to alleviate the suffering of the population in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadramout, eastern Yemen, Hodeidah and Taiz on the western coast of the country.  As the total amount distributed in these governorates reached 5716 tons of foodstuffs, from which approximately 424 thousand and 105 Yemenis benefited. A global appraisal of the UAE’s efforts to eradicate polio

 The efforts of the UAE have effectively contributed to eradicating polio in the most affected countries through funding and awareness efforts thanks to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed The UAE, along with its partners, played a pioneering role in eradicating polio over the past years by supporting the delivery of vaccines to protect more than 16 million children and supporting the efforts of polio outbreaks in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan Our great country UAE aims for a world free of wild polioviruses around the world

Sharjah Antiquities Authority completes more than 90% of the first phase of developing and restoring ancient towers

This comes as part of the authority’s programme of protecting historical sites in the emirate, especially defensive historical towers, following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, where these towers represent a major part of the tangible heritage of the Emirate.  Great efforts 💯 and this first phase of the restoration works is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
